9/21/2008-GATOR GOES FLAT AT THE DUCK    Chris made the feature but had a flat early in the race and was not given his 2 courtesy laps as discussed in the drivers meeting and went down 2 laps and decided to not finish the race and retired for the nite.

9/20/2008-SRRS/DRS NITE #1    47 cars signed in for the $10,000 to win SRRS event at Duck River Speedway. Group qualifying was used and the cars divided into 4 groups. Chris had 2nd fastest time in group #2 which had overall fastest time and won the right for the first heat race. Gatorman started on the outside pole but soon realized that the bottom was fastest as he lost postions down to 4th and finished 1 spot out of a transfer spot into the main tonite. Chris will start on the pole for the first consi tonite so hopefully the gator machine will get er done.

9/15/2008-INTIMAGATOR RACING HEADIN NORTH TO DUCK RIVER SPEEDWAY    Chris Wall and crew will be making the trip to this weekends SRRS $10,000 to win event at Duck River Speedway. The racing action has been kinda slack recently with all the hurricane situations in Louisiana and the team is looking forward to the trip to Tennessee.

9/13/2008-WEEKEND OFF    Contrary to local radio advertisements in the Jackson,Ms. area,Chris had personal business in Illinois this week and with the threat of Hurricane Ike decided to take the weekend off from racing.Intimagator Racing is getting all equipment ready for the season ending big events in the State of Mississippi. Chances are very good that the racing season will end at the end of October as deer season is approaching and Chris is an avid hunter.

9/6/2008-HOW BOUT A TRIP TO HOUSTON?    The gator crew needed a break from the hurricane state of mind and decided to make a quick trip to Houston Raceway Park for a SUPR event. 24 cars signed in for the show. Chris won his heat and started on the outside pole. 50 laps later when the checkered flag fell Chris took home a 5th place finish. The "Gentle Giant" Kenny Merchant was in a league of his own and took the win. Congrats from the Wall race team. Also a big congrats to Right Foot Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth who had a top 10 qualifying time at the World 100 tonite.Racing action for Intimagator Racing wii have to be cancelled for the weekend of September 13th because of the projected path of Hurricane Ike.

9/2/2008-HURRICANE GUSTAV CANCELS WORLD 100 PLANS FOR INTIMAGATOR RACING    Unfortunately the hurricane done major damage to the power supply in the Holden/Springfield area where the Walls live. Chris actually is running his home on the hauler generator and running the alligator farm[ 15,000 baby gators on the farm] on other generators. Thanks for everyones support of Intimagator Racing and hope everyone understands that the Walls livelyhood comes ahead of the World 100. BTW there will be a new Intimagator t-shirt ready at the ASI trailor at the World 100 and good luck to all competitors and fans.:)

8/30/2008-GATOR TRAX OUTDOORS    If any of you are avid hunters or outdoorsman there is a good show to check out. One of Intimagator Racing's sponsors is Gator Trax Boats who also are a sponsor of Gator Trax Outdoors TV. Chris's nephew Chad Wall and his wife Dana host the show and it airs at 7:00pm CST on Thursday nites on Direct TV channel 611.

8/23/2008-BULLRING BRAWL POSTPONED    The MSCCS event scheduled tonite at Columbus Speedway was cancelled due to projected heavy rain from the remnants of a hurricane. The event has been rescheduled for October 11 and will be be the first leg of a MSCCS doubleheader with Saturday nite being at Whynot Motorsports Park. The Intimagator Racing Team will be idle from competition next weekend with World 100 equipment prep on the agenda. Next tentative action for the team will be the World 100 September 5th and 6th at famed Eldora Speedway

8/17/2008-NO CONSOLATION AT BATESVILLE    If a complete washout of Friday's events wasn't bad enough, the Intimagator race team dug themselves a deep hole in qualifying.Chris said the car felt good in practice Thursday nite but was just a little bit tight. Saturday things just did not click as Chris had the 2nd slowest qualifying time in his group and started on the last row for the heat race. Little advancement was made in the heat and the luck was no better in the consi so the team watched the race instead of competing in it. There is never any solace in not making a big special even when racers like Lucas Oil points leader Earl Pearson also failed to race into the show and took a provisional. The team will put the roof back on and race at the Bullring Brawl Saturday 8/24 at Columbus Speedway.

8/16/2008-NITE #1 OF THE TOPLESS 100 RAINED OUT    Rain has forced the cancellation of nite 1 of the Lucas Oil sanctioned Topless 100 at Batesville Speedway. The complete qualifying and heats will be run tommorow morning, and then a seperate Saturday nite will be run as scheduled.

8/3/2008-USA NATIONALS at CEDAR LAKE SPEEDWAY    Chris started the consi in 14th place and advanced to 6th but failed to transfer to the feature. Special thanks to Cedar Lake Speedway, their fans, and racers for all the great hospitality shown the Intimagator race team while they competed there.Tshirt sales were outstanding as was fan support. Next tentative action for the race team will be the Topless 100 at Batesville Speedway.

8/1/2008-USA NATIONALS at CEDAR LAKE SPEEDWAY    50 cars signed in for tonites qualifying and 6 heats. Fortunes change in a hurry as Chris had the 4th fastest time overall. The top 24 times were inverted so a pole for heat 4 of 6 taking top 3 finishers turned into a 4th place start. Chris passed for 2nd on lap #2 and a transfer spot but had contact from another car and went into the wall tearing the nose piece off the car and he was towed from the track.Farther examination showed the front clip would have to be replaced. So the team will get the backup car out and go thru consi land tommorow nite.

7/31/2008-WDRL at CEDAR LAKE SPEEDWAY    50 cars signed in at Cedar Lake Speedway for a 50 lap WDRL race that served as a prelim to the $50,000 to win USA Nationals. There were 5 heats run but passing points were used with the top 18 cars in points locking into the feature. Chris finished 5th in his heat and failed to transfer. He started 5th in the consi and hammered down for a 3rd and a transfer to a 23rd place start in the feature. The results show Chris finishing 20th a lap down but tonite was a test and tune nite and Chris pulled into the pits to make a chassis adjustment for the $50,000 to win show. The regional racers in that area run great on this track and the Gatorman will have his hands full making the big show.

7/19/2008-MSCCS at CENTRAL MS. SPEEDWAY    A scant 17 cars signed in to battle for the 50 lap MSCCS race at Central Ms. Speedway. The Gatorman had the fastest qualifying time and won the 8 car dash. Chris brought home a 2nd place finish at the checkers.Congrats to Breezy who was driving the Dickens house car last nite on the win, Scott Slay on his 3rd, David Ashley on his 4th, and Bub McCool on his 5th place finishes. The Intimagator Race team will be taking next weekend off. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be a 50 lap race on 7/31 at Cedar Lale Speedway at New Richmond, Wisconsin. This event will be a tune up for the $50,000 to win USA Nationals.

7/13/2007-LUCAS at COLUMBUS SPEEDWAY    Lucas Oil action moved to the famed bullring of Columbus Speedway. Chris was fast time in his group and finished 2nd in the heat for an 8th place start in the feature. Running the 200hp less spec engine Chris used his driving ability to a very impressive 4th place at the checkers behind Bloomquist,Moyer, and Owens.

7/12/2008-LUCAS at NORTH ALABAMA SPEEDWAY    After last nite Chris must feel that North Alabama Speedway does not like him any more. For the 2nd consectutive race at NAS Chris and the car found hang time . This time was in the heat race and Chris was not injured and got the backup car out but failed to transfer to the feature.Maybe the bad luck nite was previewed when on the first lap of hot laps the throttle stuck open limiting Chris to no practice time. Then the bug bit again and there was a fuel problem in qualifying and a rear start in the heat race.30 cars signed in for the Lucas Oil race in what has been described by many as a wreck fest. The track record was broken 3 times last nite and finally claimed by the S9 of Schleiper. Congrats to the all time class act in dirt racing Freddy Smith on his big victory.Gatorman will be doin it at Columbus Speedway tonite in another Lucas Oil event.

7/6/2008-OFF WEEKEND    After last weekends back to back victories Intimagator Racing decided to pass on racing this weekend. Chris already had non racing plans made and gave the crew the weekend off before the MSCCS race was announced last Sunday. Alligator egg gathering and prep for hatching is in full swing and there will be no definate race schedule posted for a few weeks. The Intimagator Racing team will be running the Lucas Oil doubleheader events 7/11 and 7/12 at North Alabama Speedway and Columbus Speedway.I don't think anybody in attendance at the last event Chris attempted at NAS will forget the result as evident by the picture to the left. This mishap left Chris on the racing disable list for 6 weeks.

6/30/2008-4 CROWN at MAGNOLIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY    Chris had a very memorable return to racing with a victory in his first complete race back but the next time on the track should have made an undeniable statement: he is back and will still be a car to beat every time he pulls onto the track. 37 slms signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway last nite to compete in the last leg of the Triple Crown.Chris had a blazing time around the 3/8ths mile oval to lock in the pole for the feature. When the checkered flag had fell the gatorman had won his second feature in a row. Where was the rusty moves and lack of confidence from the 6 week layoff? Chris Wall and his race team do not accept failure and knew when he strapped into the car that he was ready and his equipment would be ready. Some said he was returning to racing too soon but from the results he must have been right. Intimagator Racing has not decided if they are gonna race this weekend or take it off and i will post details when i receive them.

6/28/2008-4 CROWN at COLUMBUS SPEEDWAY    After a disappointing return to racing last weekend that saw the gatorman's nite end early with rearend failure, Chris once again showed why Columbus Speedway[aka the bullring] is his favorite track. 25 slms signed in to battle for the checkers in the 2nd leg of the 3 Crown.Chris totally dominated the race and i quote one Columbus race fan as saying"nobody had anything for Wall. He was on a Sunday drive." Tonite weather permitting will be the 3rd leg of the 3 Crown at Magnolia Motor Speedwy. Maybe the gatorman can put another "w" on the board.

6/27/2008-4 CROWN    The gator team decided this morning to run the 2nd and 3rd leg of the Triple Crown at Columbus Speedway and Magnolia Motor Speedway. Although the alligator egg harvest is in full swing, Chris needed a break from it and last weekends short time on the race track did not get all the bugs worked out of the new chassis.Chris had no neck discomfort from the racing action last week and his new HANS device did not bother him either. Updates will be posted after the events.

6/22/2008-MSCCS at WHYNOT MOTORSPORTS PARK    36 cars signed in to do battle at the 50 lap MSCCS race. Anxious moments were answered as Chris made his comeback from his neck injury and concussion. The layoff did not seem to affect the Gatorman as he pushed the Wall2Wall spec powered MasterSbilt around the track. By virtue of a good qualifying time Chris started in 3rd in the 8 car dash and finished 2nd for an outside pole for the feature. Seems the inside pole sitter needed his groove and Chris's groove to race and pushed him up the track in turn 4 into the rough stuff ending his chance to grab the lead. A damaged rearend ended the Gatorman's nite real early while he was running 2nd.Congrats to the 57j of Bub McCool on the win,Jason Cliburn on 3rd and David Ashley on 4th. Next action for Intimagator Racing is still undecided and i will update the schedule when i have some news.

6/20/2008-GATORMAN RETURNS    Exactly 6 weeks and 1 day after the worst wreck of his career, the Intimagator Chris Wall will make his return to the super latemodel action. Chris suffered 3 cracked neck vertebrae and a concussion at North Alabama Speedway in a very violent series of flips on May 9th. Whynot Motorsports Park is where the comeback will begin with a 50 lap MSCCS event. This was a last minute decision by the Intimagator and crew.Chris, Missy, and everyone associated with the race team wants to once again thank all for their prayers and the support given while Chris has been on the mend.:)

6/2/2008-BURROUGHS AT MARS/JMS    Since Chris is on the disable list the action has been kinda slim for his pit crew. That changed last weekend as Darrel and Corey were in action at Jackson Motor Speedway crewing for the #121 Wall2Wall spec powered Stuckeys MasterSbilt of Anthony Burroughs of Athens,Alabama. AB competed in 2 seperate MARS events over the weekend. Friday nite was not kind as a wreck and a trip to the rear ended his chances for the nite.Saturday nite the fortunes were a bit better as he logged an 8th place finish in the feature. The news will be kinda scarce so i will post what i can over the next couple of months.

5/27/2008-INJURY UPDATE    Chris saw his nuerologist today for a 2 week checkup. Xrays showed the damaged neck is healing and he will not visit the doctor again for 4 weeks. He can maintain some activities with no heavy lifting or racing and continued wearing of the neck brace. Another crucial point was covered today and that was physical therapy. Since Chris will have been wearing a neck brace for at least 6 weeks, the muscles and nerves in the neck will have been dormant and will have to be physically activated again. Chances are it will be at least the middle of July at the earliest that Chris can return to racing and that is based on the proper healing between now and the time the brace comes off. There are not the proper words to thank everyone for their great support during this recovery time.Chris and all associated with Intimagator Racing really appreciates everyones thoughtfulness.

UPDATE    The atmosphere is a lot better in intimagator country. I talked to Chris today and he seemed to be in great spirits and said he was feeling a lot better. A lot of the soreness is about gone and he was already getting the "itch"-lol. A new MasterSbilt has already been ordered which was great news. There are not enough words to say thank you enough for all the prayers, phone calls, emails, cards, and get well wishes that have directed to Chris Wall and family. Chris is very humbled by the tremendous support and really feels special. More updates as i receive them.

5/10/2008-SAS at NORTH AL. SPEEDWAY    Chris was competing in a SAS sanctioned race at North Alabama Speedway. During hot laps he came into turn #1 and overhooked and barrel rolled off the track several times. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and thought to have a concussion. Tests showed 3 fractured vertebras in his neck. Chris was fitted with a temporary neck brace and released to travel back to Springfield, Louisiana. Chris is in tremendous pain and he will see a nuero surgeon Monday at Baton Rouge. God is good and will help the Gatorman to recover. Please say a special prayer for him. The Wall family and Intimagator Racing thanks you for your support and prayers.Anyone wanting to send a card or get well wishes it will greatly be appreciated:....Chris Wall....26192 Hwy 42.............Holden,La. 70744...........Chris and Missy would like to thank all the folks who helped after the wreck last nite and God bless you for your prayers and concern.

5/4/2008-MSCCS at CENTAL MS. SPEEDWAY    24 Cars timed in for the MSCCS show at CMS. Chris was fastest in his group and started on the outside pole in the Dash for Cash winning it for a pole for the feature. After a 50 lap furious battle with Anthony Rushing,David Breazeale, and Bub McCool the Gatorman would pedal the Wall2Wall powered MasterSbilt under the checkers first for his 4th MSCCS win of the season to go along with a 2nd and a 6th in 6 tries.Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be a double header SAS weekend with a Friday nite event at North Alabama Speedway and a Saturday nite event at Columbus Speedway on 5/9 and 5/10. Sorry about the pictures not showing up. I filed a trouble ticket earlier with my web hoster and it still has not been resolved.

4/25-26/2008-SUPR at BEAUMONT and HOUSTON, TEXAS    RAINED OUT...Next tentative action will be 5/3/2008 at a MSCCS sanctioned race at Central Ms. Speedway.

4/20/2008-MSCCS at WHYNOT MOTORSPORTS PARK    After a rainout at Friday nites SUPR event at Baton Rouge Raceway, the gator crew chose to make the pull to a MSCCS sanctioned event at Whynot.Intimagator Racing was short their crew chief and was a part of 19 cars who took qualifying times and in a rarity Chris was a little off on setup and had an 8th fastest time for the Dash for Cash and did not fare much better in it.Luck did not seem to be in Chris's corner as he hit a hole in turn 4 very early in the race and bounced off the track bringing out a caution and a trip to the rear. From there it was smash the loud pedal in the Wall2Wall spec powered Stuckeys MasterSbilt for a 6th place finish at the checkers. Next weekends action is still questionable and a definate schedule will be posted towards the end of the week when Chris chooses his destinations.

4/18-19/2008-SUPR at BATON ROUGE RACEWAY    Rained out

4/14/2008-JAMES KING MEMORIAL at COLUMBUS SPEEDWAY    Good thing that the racing experts synopsis that Chris Wall cannot win with an open engine passed by deaf ears tonite.....27 slms signed in at Columbus Speedway for the 16th annual James King Memorial race paying $5000 to win. After losing his spec engine at NAS last nite while running 3rd, the Gatorman used the no problem approach and brought out the Wall2Wall open engine backup car for the race. Chris had 2nd fastest time in group 2 locking in a 4th place start for the feature. 50 laps later it was all smiles in the Intimagator Racing camp as he took home the checkers getting a little redemption for the previous races engine failure. Hopefully after making 2 Lucas Oil shows at Eastbay, a MSCCS win at Pike County, a 10th in a 100 lap WoO race, a now a victory at Columbus Speedway all with open engine combos the critics will realize that the man can wheel an open engine as good as a spec engine. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be 4/18 at a 50 lap SUPR sanctioned race at Baton Rouge Raceway.

4/12/2008-SHOALS SHOOTOUT AT NORTH AL. SPEEDWAY    Team Intimagator made the 7 hour haul to North Alabama Speedway for the unsanctioned Shoals Shootout. Threatening weather put a damper on car count as 22 slms signed in to qualify. Two groups were lined up Chris was fastest in his group for an outside pole for the feature. The Wall2Wall spec engine decided to take a leave of absence last nite and put the Gatorman down delegating him to a 20th place finish. Tonite the backup car will be brought out with the open engine package in it. Chris is no stranger to this combo as he has already utilized it for a MSCCS victory and a 10th place finish in a World of Outlaw 100 lap event.

4/6/2008-MSCCS at JACKSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY CANCELLED    Too much rain Friday nite and cloudy skies that prevented drying out Saturday forced cancellation of the 50 lap MSCCS race scheduled at Jackson Motor Speedway. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be Friday 4/11 at North Alabama Speedway for the Shoals Shootout and 4/12 at Columbus Speedway for the James King Memorial.

3/30/2008-WOO at PIKE COUNTY SPEEDWAY    The World of Outlaws super lates made their inaugural stop at Pike County Speedway for a 100 lap event.36 cars signed in for the 2 day $20,000 win event.Qualifying and heats were run on Friday nite and Chris finished 4th in his heat for a 14th place start in the feature.Passing was at a premium and when the checkers fell the gator man mustered a 10th place finish against some of the best racers in the nation. Congrats to the hottest driver in the country Billy Moyer on his 8th win of the early season and to James Ward for his outstanding 4th place finish. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be a MSCCS sanctioned event on 4/5 at Jackson Motor Speedway. This will be the first event run at the Don Cliburn completely renovated facility which is supposed to be one of the best in the south.

It is a severe disease that has attacked the blood vessels in his legs. The disease has spread quickly during the past few months which have caused Sam to be in much pain and rendering him disabled with no known cure and limited treatment options. These past few weeks have been especially trying times for Sam, his wife Susan and family. Sam has had some major setbacks and long hospital stays, with hope that he will get well enough for transport to the Mayo Clinic. At this time it would be nice if those who know Sam in the racing community could not only pray but also send him a card or letter to help raise his spirits. SPEEDWAY    Intimagator Racing particapated in a 50 lap MSCCS sanctioned race at North Ms. Speedway. 3O slms signed in for qualifying. The format called for 4 groups with the top 2 times in each group locked in for the 6 lap dash to determine feature starts. Chris won group #2 with his 3rd fast time of the year and finished 2nd in the dash for an outside pole for the feature. When the checkered flag fell Chris had led all 50 laps and picked up his 3rd MSCCS victory of 2008 and 25th of his MSCCS career.Congrats to the Ray Moore team on a 3rd Friday nite and 2nd Saturday nite in his first visits to these 2 tracks. Tough breaks both nites for Anthony Burroughs who had a fast hotrod both nites but was stricken with the bad luck bug. Next tentative action for the race team will be the highly anticipated WORLD of OUTLAWS 2 day $20,000 to win event at Pike County Speedway on March 28 and 29 with the 30th set as a rain date if needed.

3/22/2008-MSCCS/AMP CHALLENGE at NORTH AL. SPEEDWAY    36 slms signed in to do battle last nite in a 40 lap MSCCS sanctioned race at North Alabama Speedway. There were 4 qualifing groups of 9 cars in each group with the 2 fastest cars in each group locking in for the feature and 8 car-6 lap dash to determine the feature top 8 lineup. Chris had 2nd fastest time but was in group 3 with the fast time and started 5th in the dash and finished 4th for the same starting position in the feature. The first 30 laps saw several lead changes. With a restart around lap 30 or so, there was a 3 car breakaway running side by side between McCool,Moore, and Wall for the remaining laps with McCool winning,Wall 2nd, and Moore 3rd. Action tonite shifts about 45 miles to North Ms. Speedway for a 50 lap MSCCS sanctioned race.Happy Easter to all from Intimagator Racing.

3/20/2008-WOO P.R. RELEASE    ... Contact: World Racing Group Kevin Kovac, World of Outlaws Late Model Series P.R. Director * .............. Louisiana's Chris Wall Hopes To Give His 'Gator Zone' Something To Cheer About In 'March Through Dixie 100' At Pike County Speedway Popular 'Intimagator' Ready To Battle World of Outlaws Late Model Series Stars On March 28-29 MAGNOLIA, MS - March 20, 2008 - The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be in the 'Gator Zone' on March 28-29 at Pike County Speedway. And if Chris Wall - the Gulf Coast star known as the 'Intimagator' - puts on a show in the 'March Through Dixie 100,' you can take it to the bank that the grandstand section occupied by his rabid supporters will be chomp-chomp-chomping it up in glee. With Wall expecting perhaps three-dozen family members and hundreds of his local fans to be looking on, he's laser-focused on giving them something to cheer about in a $20,000-to-win spectacular that will boast the most talented field ever to assemble at the three-eighths-mile oval. "I'm real excited," said the 39-year-old Wall, whose home in Holden, La., is about an hour's drive from Pike County Speedway. "If I could win a World of Outlaws race in front of my hometown crowd, with all my family, friends and fans watching, it would definitely be the biggest highlight of my career." An approachable fan-favorite whose 'Intimagator' nickname derives from his ownership of the C&M Gator Farm in Springfield, La. (he harvests and raises alligators for such customers as meat markets and high-end leather manufacturers), Wall has steadily risen in recent years to his current status as the Gulf Coast Region driver with the best chance of defeating the national stars of the WoO LMS. He's finished as high as second in a WoO LMS event (on March 17, 2006, at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baker, La.), and last year he scored seventh-place finishes in tour shows at Baton Rouge and Columbus (Miss.) Speedway (where he ran in the top five until the race's final laps). Wall brings his Intimagator Racing team, which he fields with his wife Missy, to Pike County riding a wave of early-season momentum. He's already won two features in 2008, including a Mississippi State Challenge Series event on March 15 at Pike County that he earned using the same combination (MastersBilt by Stuckey car, Wall2Wall Performance open-rules engine) he'll drive in the 'March Through Dixie 100.' "It's not like winning against the Outlaws, but having two wins under your belt already does boost your confidence," said Wall, who won a career-high 23 features in 2006 but fell to seven victories in '07 while plagued with bad luck. "Running a race at Pike County also helps a lot. We went there to try and get dialed in a little for the Outlaw show because that's some pretty big money on the line in our backyard, and I think we learned some things." Wall said Pike County's clay surface on March 15 was a "good, all-around racetrack," the kind of surface that could produce exciting, competitive action during the 'March Through Dixie 100.' "You never know what a dirt track will do - that's the challenge of the sport," said Wall. "But I think if the track is like it was for the (Mississippi) State race, the Outlaw show could be a real good race. "And if we run like we did (on March 15), I think we can do real well (against the Outlaws). I think we can at least pull off a top-five (finish)." Of course, Wall's goal - as it is every time he drives onto a racetrack - is to win the race, but he understands how tough conquering the 'March Through Dixie 100' will be. "I'm definitely confident that we can win, but it almost seems unrealistic that we can do it," said Wall, hailing the talented drivers he'll be facing. "We're optimistic, and we're showing up to win. But if we finish in the top 10, or top five, against that caliber of competition, that's O.K. We won't hang our heads." Wall is certainly mentally prepared for the challenge ahead. "Before a big race like this you have to make sure you do your homework and are prepared 110 percent," said Wall. "And you gotta be careful not to out-think yourself when you're at the track running against the best guys. You have to realize that these guys put on their pants one leg at a time just like you do." The all-star roster of WoO LMS regulars that Wall will battle features defending champion Steve Francis of Ashland, Ky.; Chub Frank of Bear Lake, Pa.; Clint Smith of Senoia, Ga.; Shane Clanton of Locust Grove, Ga.; Rick Eckert of York, Pa.; 20-year-old Josh Richards of Shinnston, W.Va.; Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky.; '07 Rookie of the Year Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y.; Brian Shirley of Chatham, Ill.; Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Ill.; and 2008 Rookie of the Year contender Al Purkey of Coffeyville, Kan. Other well-known national names planning to enter the event include Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., who won the 2006 WoO LMS title and is currently a Richard Childress Racing Development Driver; three-time WoO LMS champ Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark.; Pike County's 2007 Jambalaya 100 winner Jimmy Mars of Menomonie, Wis.; Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine, Iowa; John Blankenship of Williamson, W.Va.; and 2006 WoO LMS Rookie of the Year Eddie Carrier Jr. of Salt Rock, W.Va. Wall also expects to joined by a host of his fellow Gulf Coast standouts, including former Jambalaya 100 winner David Ashley of Zachary, La. ("He will be a contender," asserted Wall); David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss. 3/19/2008-CHANGE OF PLANS    Contacts from the Batesville,Arkansas area are saying the SUPR doubleheader there this weekend will possibly be cancelled. The Intimagator Racing team has changed plans and will instead run the MSCCS doubleheader at North Alabama Speedway and North Ms. Speedway.

3/18/2008-CONGRATS TO THE OBRIENS    There are a lot of people behind the scenes in racing that the general racing public never knows about. One of those people is Tim O'Brien who until this year has served as the special events coordinator at Columbus Speedway. Tim has put together some of the best special events both racers and fans could ask for not only at Columbus but also at other tracks over the last few years.Last nite Tim's wife Shelley gave birth to a new daughter Anna Dyan O'Brien.Intimagator Racing wishes a heart felt congrats to the O'Brien family on this welcomed addition.

3/16/2008-MSCCS at PIKE COUNTY SPEEDWAY    Racing action this weekend took place at the 3/8 highbanks of Pike County Speedway where a 50 lap MSCCS event was run. A slim field of 18 latemodels signed in to take qualifying laps. Some times a man has gotta do what a man has gotta do. The Intimagator chose to run the small spoiler Wall2Wall open engine package to gain some valuable track time for the big WoO event in 2 weeks at PCS. Hot laps were a little scary as Chris got real loose in turns 1 and 2.The gator crew was up to the task and set the car up for the only sub 17 second lap turned in qualifying. Now a first was also seen from the Wall camp at this event. Crew chief Darrel Posey made his racing debut in the Wall2Wall spec powered Stuckeys MasterSbilt. Darrell quickly learned that there was a lot of difference in preparing a race car and driving one, even though his first time in competitive action produced a 2nd in his B-main.Chris started on the pole for the 6 lap 8 car fastest times dash and ran away with it for a feature pole. When you're hot, you're hot and what ensued at the drop of the green was a totally dominating performance.Even after around 5 cautions bunched the field back up giving 2nd and 3rd place cars a chance at Chris, but it was not to be. Chris finished the race a 1/2 track ahead of the 2nd place car to take the checkers going away.So much for the naysayers saying he could not be successful with the small spoiler package as i am sure that after last nite that most are glad that he chooses the spec engine package at most races.Saturday nites MSCCS victory was a series leading 24th victory for the gator farmer from Springfield,Louisiana. Tentative plans for next weekend are a Friday and Saturday doubleheader SUPR weekend at the famed Batesville Speedway.

3/7/2008-REBEL CHALLENGE CANCELLATION    Extreme cold and snow forecasted has forced the postponement of the Rebel Challenge races. A makeup date has not yet been announced. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be a MSCCS sanctioned event at Pike County Speedway on 3/15/2008.

3/6/2008-CONGRATS to RONNIE ROGERS    Congrats to Ronnie Rogers owner of Wall2Wall Performance Engines for landing another outstanding regional racer. Car owner Dickie Allen has given Wall2Wall a chance with a spec engine in the James Ward ride and if last Saturday nite was any indication,it is gonna be a good decision. James was a runaway leader the first few laps of the Frostbite 50 until being caught up in a wreck ending his nite.Sure would have been interesting seeing if he could maintain that pace the full 50 laps.

3/2/2008-BIRTH/ANNIVERSARY/MSCCS at SOUTH MS. SPEEDWAY    This weeks update will start with a couple of congrats. Crew chief Darrel Posey and wife are proud parents of their first son born Thursday nite.Darrel has played a major part in Intimagator Racing's success over the last few years.....Chris and Missy Wall will celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary on March 4th.....Did i mention there was racing action this weekend? 24 cars signed in for the $5000 to win Frostbite 50 at South Ms. Speedway. With the crew chief out of action with his wife and new son, the rest of the gator crew tightened their belts a notch and set up a quick time ride for Chris and also a pole for the 8 car dash for cash to determine the top 8 starting postions for the feature event. Chris took a win and an inside pole for the feature.James Ward finished 2nd and started on the outside pole. At the drop of the green James took the lead on a very racy and tacky track and was in another zip code for the first 6 laps. Then as so many times in racing happens, he was caught up in racing incident with a lapped car and busted his radiator ending his great run.BTW good to see that the AAA ride of James Ward is running a Wall2Wall spec engine. If the early going in the Frostbite 50 was any indication, James has to be happy with the power plant. The gator man never looked back and lead the remaining laps for the victory making it 3 years in a row to win the Frostbite 50. A big shout also goes out to Anthony Burroughs for running 2nd most of the race and bringing his Wall2Wall powered spec under the checkered flag in 3rd. Wall2Wall owner Ronnie Rogers was in attendance last nite and had to be smiling. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will be the Brown Engineering double header Rebel Challenge at Columbus Speedway on March 7th and 8th.

2/24/2008-REGIONAL NOTICE    Intimagator Racing will kick off 2008 regional racing action at South Ms. Speedway on March 1st. This will be the MSCCS sanctioned Frostbite 50 paying $5000 to win.Chris is the defending champion of this event in both 2006 and 2007.

2/9/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#6    80 cars signed in tonite for the final race of the Lucas Oil Winternationals.Chris was 4th fastest in his group and 18th fastest overall. A 4th place finish in the heat would give the gatorman an outside front row in B-main #3. After a 12 lap furious crowd pleasin at times 3 wide battle with T-Mac and Schlieper, Chris could not pull the trigger and brought home a 2nd ending his nite. It has been a great week at East Bay after losing an engine on nite #1 and then making 2 of the features.Intimagator Racing would like to give congrats to Billy Moyer in his Victory Circle chassis for dominating 3 wins at East Bay and to Matt Miller for making all 6 shows and being a force every nite. Miller's crew chief Ronnie Stuckey gave at East Bay and has always given Chris unlimited setup advice. Next tentative action for Intimagator Racing will probably be the Frostbite 50 at South Ms. Speedway on March 1.

2/8/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#5    88 cars timed in for nite 5 of 6 Lucas Oil Winternationals. Chris had a subpar qualifying effort of 14th out of 15 cars. The hole was too deep to climb out of with an 8th place finish in the heat. Luck was no better in the B-main so the team will regroup for tommorrow nites final.

2/7/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#4    A very impressive 84 cars timed in for nite #4. Chris was 5th fastest in group #4 and finished 5th in the heat race.Tonite was 4 B-mains with only the winner transferring to the feature. The gatorman won B-main #4 for a 22nd starting spot in the feature.Chris managed an 17th place finish on a almost all nite long locked down track. Passing was certain at a premium tonite.

2/6/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#3    73 cars timed in and da gatorman was fastest time in group #4 for a pole in heat #4. The fickle finger of fate was not to be as a heat pole quickly turned into a 4th place finish and a front row for a consi. The set-up on the car was too tight in the heat and the consi was no better moving Chris to the Strawberry Dash and last chance land. Chris came from the rear to finish 3rd so he failed to make the show. The team will regroup for nite #4.

2/5/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#2    66 cars timed in for nite #2 of the Lucas Oil sponsored races at East Bay Raceway. The racin bird of paradise smiled on the Intimagator team as Chris had 7th fastest overall time. He proceeded to finish 3rd in heat #3 for a 15th place feature start. Chris logged in a 13th place finish with only minor sheet metal damage and most of all performance out of the back-up engine. I will be out of pocket the next 2 nites but you can hear live action at 7pm eastern time on www.racetalklive.com .

2/4/2008-SPEEDWEEKS NITE#1    73 cars timed in for the first of 6 nites of Lucas Oil competition.Timing was good enough for a 5th place start in heat #3. The nite did not go quite as planned as Chris lost oil pressure on lap 8 and immediately shut it down to prevent major engine damage. The race team only had crew chief Darrell Posey able to make the week long trip and Anthony Burroughs graciously agreed to help out. The engine will be pulled tonite and replaced for nite #2.

2/1/2008-LUCAS OIL SPEEDWWEKS    After a 3 month break from the racing action, the race team will be in transit this weekend to East Bay Raceway Park at Gibsonton,Florida.Monday nite starts 6 nites of Lucas Oil sanctioned races that will feature most of the best racing talent in the nation. There will be no "field filler" cars and just making an A-main will be an accomplishment. The race team has never raced there and have a positive attitude to have fun and increase the learning curve.I will be doing updates but the hottest racing source right now is.... www.dirtondirt.com This site is by far the most informative and updated racing site available to the public with a yearly subscription fee. Dirt on dirt has updated qualifying, heats, consis, lineups, and feature results as they happen.

2007 E-MAIL    This is a copy of an email that i think will help answer the question........... Dear Chris, My name is Wendy Bohonek and I am a writer/photographer for LuvRacin.com. My husband and I covered the Possom Town Grand Prix at Columbus Speedway a few weeks ago and your name came up in quite an unique way. I thought you might get a kick out of knowing how. While photographing and interviewing a modified driver, I encountered a young 10 year old girl named Tess. She was sincerely inquisitive about what I was doing so I took a few minutes to explain to her that I had the pleasure of meeting lots of different drivers while I took thier pictures and interviewed them. She was quick to tell me that she knew how to turn a wrench and worked as part of the crew on a family members car. (TK King, Late Model Stock driver at Columbus Speedway). She was very polite not boastful, as she continued her "story" by telling me that she knew something about carburetors that most race car drivers didn't know. It was the next thing that she said that concerned you, and when honestly, I began to take our conversation a little more seriously. She went on to say that she was going to continue working on her family members team for a little while longer then she wanted to go and work for Chris Wall's team. She asked me if I knew who you were and I said of course and told her to continue. She hesitated, but continued by stating, that once she learned everything she could from you/your team, then she wanted to move on to Anthony Rushing Jr's team. She wanted to know if I knew who he was as well. Then she asked me again if I was sure I knew who the two of you were. I had to confirm that I knew of both of you by stating your car numbers, color of your cars, where you both were from and it was only after I stated that I knew your nickname was "The Intimagator" that she seemed convinced. (She was a really sweet, not rude, yet a very focused, and determined young girl, who wasn't wasting her time unless I fully understood who she was talking about). Once she was fully convinced that I knew of you and Rushing Jr, she agreed to continue our conversation. I asked her why she picked you and Rushing Jr. She answered by telling me that she has been watching you both race for a couple of years now. She stated that she has observed you both on the track. Likes both of your driving styles, and is unable to choose between the two of you. Since choosing one of you over the other is not an option, she has come to the conclusion that she must work with both of you to reach her final goal; which is to start her own team. She was very serious, not just telling a "tall tale," she didn't just make this up on the spur of the moment. She has really put some thought into her plans. I was amazed, and it was quite refreshing to hear of a young person have such a dream. I told her that I would remember her name, and when she did start her own team, I would expect an interview. She reassured me that one day she would have her own team. I know she is young, and has a lot of "life" in front of her, yet who knows maybe someday, a young girl named Tess might knock on your shop door asking if you need someone who can turn a wrench, and maybe someday I will be interviewing a young woman starting a new team who has learned from some of the best. Bottom line........ I guess I just wanted to tell you that you have inspired a ten year old young girl, and from a 44 year old girl, I think thats pretty awesome. WendyB

2007 STATS    Intimagator Racing competed in 51 events in 2007 with 4 rainouts traveled to also with the following stats: 1st-7......2nd-9.....3rd-5th-3......6th-10th-8....11th-20th-5.....below 20th-10......DNS-8.......All the finishes below 10th except for 3 or 4 were from either wrecks or mechanical failures.

2007-JAMBALAYA 100    33 Cars signed in for the $30,000 to win event. Chris timed in 2nd fastest and started on the outside pole of heat #1 of 3 heats. The gator man got a bad start and quickly lost several positions. Trying too hard to compensate for the poor start resulted in a spinout and a trip to the rear. Chris did not lock in in the heat and moved to consi land. After all the heats were completed the 6 fastest times ran a 12 lap dash for cash that paid $1000. The luck of the draw method was used to determine starting positions and Chris drew the pole. He proceeded to lead all 12 laps for the cash bonus. Nite #2 saw Chris finish the consi in a position that gave him a 22nd start in the feature. He hammered the Wall2Wall spec for a 7th place finish and also a $500 Hard Charger bonus.
